Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Your account details. When you start a free trial we ask for your email, either typed in or shared by Google when you choose Continue with Google. From Google we receive only your name, email address and profile picture link. We never see your Google password.
• Your salon setup. Your salon name, type, country, services and prices, logo, payment methods and the other details you enter while setting up.
• Data you store in your salon. The clients, appointments, sales, staff, expenses and reviews you and your team record. This data belongs to your salon.
• Technical data. Sign-in records, IP address and basic device information, used to keep accounts secure and to stop abuse.

2. Why we use it

• To create and run your salon account, and to sign you and your team in.
• To help you finish setting up. If you start the signup and stop part-way, we may email you once or twice to help you finish.
• To send tips and product news, only if you ticked the box to receive them. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
• To provide support, keep the service secure and improve it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send you marketing text messages or WhatsApp messages unless you separately and clearly agree to them.

3. Your clients' data

When your salon records its clients, your salon decides what is stored and how it is used, and we process it on your behalf to run the service. If your salon sends clients WhatsApp or SMS messages through Elaviqo (such as receipts or reminders), your salon is responsible for having the client's permission where the law requires it.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the services that help us run Elaviqo, and only what each one needs:

• Hosting and database providers that store the app and its data.
• Google, when you choose Continue with Google.
• Messaging providers (such as WhatsApp and SMS services) when your salon sends messages.
• Payment providers when you pay for a plan.
• Authorities, only if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

• Your salon's data is kept while your account is active.
• If a free trial ends without a paid plan, the salon is paused, and then deleted after a further period. We will tell you before that happens.
• If you started the signup but never created a salon, we keep your email for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Unfinished signup progress (what you filled in, never your password) is kept for 30 days so you can continue where you left off, then deleted.

6. Your choices

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it.
• Stop using Continue with Google at any time from your Google account settings.

7. Security

Each salon's data is kept separate from every other salon. Access is protected by individual logins and encrypted connections. No system is perfect, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will let you know by email or in the app.
